This is a poster advertisement project that I designed in a course during my junior year. It is based around a theoretical design conference that would be hosted at my university. I then expanded the poster assignment in designing other things involved in an event like merchandise, tickets, buttons and more. By adding the other designs beyond just the poster I felt like this makes this project more centered around an entire event, which was my end goal of the project. My idea for this poster was to obviously be eye catching, and I think I achieved that with the color palette and type face I used in the poster. Using a blocky modernist type face in the title and section headers was a must for the look that I was going for. I used a modernist and upscale color palette that helped capture the vision and feel for the design conference itself through colors like "sea-foam green", "deep ocean blue" and "gatsby yellow".
